Vet Tix Partners with Navy Federal Credit Union to Serve the Houston and Raleigh Military Community

Press Releases

PHOENIX, AZ (October 22, 2019) – Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix) and Navy Federal Credit Union are teaming up to support the military community in Houston, TX and Raleigh, NC. Through its commitment to serving Houston and Raleigh area servicemembers, veterans and their families, Navy Federal is providing over 300 tickets to local live events at Revention Music Center and The Ritz Raleigh now through December to members of all branches of Active Duty military and veterans, including immediate family of troops killed in action.

“We are thrilled to partner with Navy Federal Credit Union in their mission to serve and enrich the lives of those in the military community,” said Steven Weintraub, Vet Tix Chief Strategy Officer. “By going to these events, servicemembers, veterans and their families are able to reduce the stresses that come with military service and build life-long memories. Navy Federal Credit Union’s contributions will strengthen family bonds and enhance the quality of life for our Houston and Raleigh VetTixers and their families.”

Vet Tix is the number one nonprofit working to provide free tickets to currently serving military and veterans of all eras, including immediate family of troops killed in action.

“Giving back to the military community is so important to us here at Navy Federal,” said Dietrich Kuhlmann, senior vice president, Branch Operations at Navy Federal Credit Union. Kuhlmann, who served for over 35 years in the United States Navy, added, “We’ve made it our mission to serve those who have served, and this partnership with Vet Tix is a great way for us to give back to so many deserving members of the Houston and Raleigh military community.”

To receive tickets, military personnel and veterans sign up at VetTix.org and are verified by a third party. Members can then set their event interests and are notified when tickets to an event meeting their criteria are available. Members then request tickets and Vet Tix distributes tickets at times using a lottery.
