PlayStation Fiesta Bowl to offer veterans at least 700 tickets to CFP Semifinal Game
SCOTTSDALE, AZ – The PlayStation Fiesta Bowl and Cheez-It® Bowl continue their tradition of saluting our veterans by expanding their partnership with Vet Tix to provide tickets for veterans and their families.
Vet Tix will join the “Send-A-Vet” program as the presenting sponsor with a minimum donation of 700 tickets to the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl for each of the next four years. Veterans and currently-serving members of the military will sign up online free of charge and after their service is verified, they will be able to request free tickets.
“The longstanding support and passion for the Vet Tix mission by the Fiesta Bowl has been vital to our success,” said Mike Focareto, CEO and Founder of Vet Tix. “Our partnership with the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl provides our veterans, currently-serving military and first responders the opportunity to attend one of the highest-demanded events at a time of the year when there is additional focus on family. For many, experiences like this bowl game create unforgettable memories and assist our VetTixers by making them feel appreciated by and connected to their community.”
In addition, the Cheez-It® Bowl will continue its involvement in the program through the Community Champions donation program which has helped donate 6,300 tickets to veterans over the last two years. Community Champions allows fans to honor these local heroes and show appreciation for their service.
“We are extremely excited to build on our ‘Send-A-Vet’ program,” said Mike Nealy, Executive Director of the Fiesta Bowl. “With the addition of the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl along with the Cheez-It® Bowl, we are able to reach more of our veterans and offer a memorable experience for them and their families.”
