PHOENIX (September 18, 2014) — Vet Tix, a national nonprofit foundation that provides free event tickets to currently serving military, veterans and their family members, announced that the organization is to host an online auction of special blank-cover comic books, limited to only 50 issues of Lady Death — a comic book series created by Brian Pulido — in support of their deserving veterans, benefiting the Hero’s Wish program.
The Lady Death Artist Project Benefiting Vet Tix — Hero’s Wish will feature select artists’ portrayals of Lady Death in this limited-edition installment of the classic comic book. Popular artists such as Mark Brooks, Marc Silvestri, Whilce Portacio, Jay Anacleto, Humberto Ramos, Leinil Francis Yu, Frank Cho, Brandon Peterson, J. Scott Campbell, Clayton Crane, Phillip Tan and many others have been invited to participate in the anniversary collaboration. Once completed, the comic book covers will be scanned and posted for all to enjoy. The books will also be sent to CGC for Signature Series witnessed signature authentication prior to auctions.

These one-of-a-kind comic book covers will be auctioned on eBay under the seller ID “vet-tix” in mid-October.
