Q: What is your connection to the U.S. military?

My husband serves in the Air Force.  My brother served in the Navy.  My father-in-law retired from the Air Force.  Our grandpas also served in the military.  My husband and I have been connected to the military throughout our lives.

Q: How did you learn about Vet Tix?

I heard about Vet Tix through a friend who went to an event through Vet Tix.  I saw pictures and videos on Facebook of how much fun they were having and asked what Vet Tix was.

“We had such a wonderful time at the concert! It was our children’s first concert and they haven’t stopped talking about it! We can’t thank you enough! We wouldn’t be able to afford tickets to any concert, especially such amazing seats! We are forever grateful for the experience you let us have!” – Taylor Swift Stadium Tour, Philadelphia, PA.

Q: Describe some highlights from your experiences attending events through Vet Tix.

My children and I were able to see some amazing concerts throughout last summer.  We saw Taylor Swift and my youngest touched her hand!  We saw Calum Scott open up for Pentatonix, also Sugarland and Niall Horan.  All of these are treasured memories that will last a lifetime.

Q: How did using Vet Tix positively impact you and/or your family?

We are a family of six and have to budget. Concerts and sporting events are never on our list because they weren’t affordable.  Now we can go and have experiences and memories!  We are also a family that loves being together.  Vet Tix has given us family time that will leave a lasting mark on my children’s lives forever. Military families don’t necessarily need more things, but we do need more experiences together. I will never be able to thank the donors enough for that.  They are letting us make amazing memories!

Q: What would you say to currently serving military and veterans who don’t yet know about Vet Tix?

It might sound too good to be true, but it isn’t!  Sign up and go to all the amazing events they have that you can!  It is so much fun once you get started!  We can’t wait to see what events open up!
