The Rocket City Trash Pandas, in partnership with Blue Origin, have introduced Warfighter Wednesday, a season-long initiative at Toyota Field in Madison to honor active-duty service members, veterans and first responders throughout the 2026 baseball season.
Warfighter Wednesday allows local businesses to support those who have served by purchasing group ticket packages to recognize employees who have transitioned from military service into the workforce. Companies may also donate tickets directly to Vet Tix, providing active-duty service members and veterans an opportunity to attend a game.
Group packages are available in increments of 20, 50 or 100 tickets. Businesses that purchase a 100-ticket package also receive a dedicated table on the concourse to engage with fans and highlight their commitment to hiring veterans. Some participating companies have chosen to donate their table space to nonprofit organizations to provide additional resources for service members attending the game.
On select Wednesdays, in-game recognition will include color guard presentations and on-field patriotic ceremonies, such as holding a large American flag in center field. The initiative is intended to recognize those who serve and connect them with opportunities in the community.
Vet Tix will distribute tickets throughout the season from April through September. Registered members may claim tickets by paying a small convenience fee. First responders are also eligible through 1st Tix.
Businesses interested in participating may contact groups@trashpandasbaseball.com or call 256-325-1403, ext. 2. Space is limited to 10 concourse tables per Wednesday, and the April 29 date is sold out.
