UNI Athletics partners with Vet Tix

Local military and first responder community to benefit from complimentary tickets to Panther sporting events.
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — UNI Athletics announced on Monday a new partnership with the Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix) to offer complimentary tickets to Panther football, volleyball, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and wrestling events during the 2026-27 season.
Tickets available for each game vary and can be claimed by active duty personnel, veterans, and first responders by creating an account at www.VetTix.org. Account setup requires verification through ID.me and confirmation of service or affiliation.
“We’re incredibly proud to partner with Vet Tix and provide members of our military community with the opportunity to experience UNI Athletics,” said Scott Peace, Senior Associate AD for Revenue Generation. This partnership is another meaningful way for UNI Athletics to say thank you for their service and sacrifice while welcoming even more members of our community into Panther Nation.”
In addition to partnering with Vet Tix, UNI will continue to host Military Appreciation games throughout the upcoming athletics season, including the Nov. 7 football game against South Dakota State.
“Vet Tix is proud to partner with the University of Northern Iowa Athletics to create meaningful opportunities for veterans, service members, first responders, and their families to enjoy Panthers athletics together,” said Michael A. Focareto III, founder and CEO of Vet Tix and a U.S. Navy veteran. “Through this partnership, members of our community will have the chance to make lasting memories at a wide range of UNI sporting events, including football, basketball, volleyball, and wrestling.”
Season ticket holders will also be able to donate their unused tickets to Vet Tix by transferring their tickets via their Paciolan account to donate@vettix.org.
