Veterans who aren’t able to access VetTix can request two tickets per veteran by contacting the Wyoming Veterans Commission at 307-777-8152.
Veterans will need to provide their name, mailing address, phone number, and some basic proof of their veteran status such as a veterans service organization membership card, VA health care identification card, retired military identification card, or other proof of veteran status. All requests for tickets must be received by the close of business Aug. 28 and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. Tickets will be mailed as the orders are filled and no later than Sept. 3.

Veterans and current military personnel and their family members will meet at the north end zone 30 minutes prior to kickoff and will be escorted onto the field.
“Thank you to the University of Wyoming Athletic Department for supporting Wyoming Veterans,” said Linda Allgeier, chairman of the Wyoming Veterans Commission and UW graduate. “Wyoming veterans have a long tradition of supporting Cowboy football. This is a great way to recognize our veterans’
service to our state and nation.”
Veterans, military, their families and guests are also invited to American Legion Post #14, 417 Ivinson St., for a complimentary tailgate buffet, hosted by the Wyoming Veterans Commission, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

About Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix)
Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation supporting our military community. Vet Tix has provided over 1.6 million free event tickets to currently serving military, veterans and family members of those killed in action to sporting events, concerts, performing arts and family activities. Our military and veterans experience many difficult transitions as they reintegrate into their families, communities, and eventually, into civilian life. Attending events improves morale, strengthens family bonds through shared interests and encourages service members to stay engaged with local communities and American life. In gratitude for their service and to support their reintegration, Vet Tix is dedicated to giving back to those who gave us so much. Donations are eligible for tax deductions.
