Basis Entertainment Partners with Veteran Tickets Foundation To Give Back to our Nations Veterans

Press Releases

Forest City, IA (April6, 2017)— Basis Entertainment, an Iowa-based full-service entertainment company and concert promoter, has partnered with the national nonprofit Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix) to donate concert tickets to all of the upcoming 2017 Basis Entertainment stadium shows and music festivals.

Vet Tix partners with teams, businesses and organizations, venues, land season ticket holders to collect and distribute tickets to military members, honorably discharged veterans and family members of those killed in action. Getting to participate in community events once they return from service allows veterans an enjoyable, stress-free experience that helps with reintegration into the community and family bonding. Vet Tix has provided more than 2.8 million tickets to over 500,000 deserving service members. This is the first time Basis Entertainment tickets have ever been donated. The stadium shows and music festivals to choose from include, Music & Miracles Superfest, Doak After Dark, Tree Town Music Festival, Happy Valley Jam, Carolina Kickoff Concert, American Kick Off Concert, and Beach Town Music Festival.

“We are proud to partner with an organization that works diligently on behalf of our veterans. We at Basis appreciate our veterans and want to do what we can to encourage them to come out to our shows and enjoy a great night of entertainment,” said Basis Entertainment’s co-owner Gary Dewaard.

“Giving a veteran a chance to attend exciting events is what we strive for,” said Mike Focareto, CEO of Veteran Tickets Foundation. “We are extremely grateful to Basis for understanding and supporting our purpose, donating entertainment tickets as small tokens of gratitude for those who have served.”

Veterans are urged to sign up at Vettix.org for information on how to choose their show and receive the limited supply of tickets.
