THE THUNDERBIRDS ONCE AGAIN OFFER FREE ADMISSION TO MILITARY PERSONNEL, ACTIVE U.S. LAW ENFORCEMENT, FIREFIGHTERS AND EMT’S TO THE 2026 WM PHOENIX OPEN

THE THUNDERBIRDS ONCE AGAIN OFFER FREE ADMISSION TO MILITARY PERSONNEL, ACTIVE U.S. LAW ENFORCMENT, FIREFIGHTERS AND EMTS TO THE 2026 WM PHOENIX OPEN

The Thunderbirds are continuing its tradition of offering complimentary tournament admission to all Active, Reserve, Veteran and retired U.S. Military personnel, along with all Active U.S. Law Enforcement, Firefighters and EMTs (plus one accompanying guest) to the 2026 WM Phoenix Open, scheduled for Feb. 2–8 at TPC Scottsdale. This is the 24th year that The Thunderbirds – hosts of the WM Phoenix Open – have extended this free invitation as a small gesture of thanks to our nation’s heroes.

To take advantage of this free admission offer, qualified patrons must first go to https://www.vettix.org/partner/WMPO to register through the Vet Tix verification program (ticket delivery fee applies).  Once qualified, users will receive a mobile ticket via AXS.  Tickets are limited to two per day, per qualifying applicant. A mobile ticket will be required to enter the tournament.  Additional information can be found at https://wmphoenixopen.com/patriots-outpost/. Tournament officials encourage those interested to register early for this offer as there is an allocated number of free tickets that will be issued for each day.

“Offering free admission to our military, first responders and emergency medical professionals is one of the most meaningful traditions of the WM Phoenix Open,” said 2026 Tournament Chairman Jason Eisenberg. “While this event is known for its energy and excitement, at its heart it’s about gratitude and community. The men and women who serve our country and protect our communities deserve to be recognized and welcomed, and we’re proud to honor them once again at The People’s Open.”

Additionally, the Birdies for the Brave Patriots Outpost will be open Wednesday through Sunday during tournament week and available to all Active, Reserve, Veteran and Retired U.S. Military from all five branches of the Armed Forces. Located in a prime spot overlooking the 18th fairway, Patriots Outpost is a great venue where military personnel can enjoy complimentary food and drinks while taking in “The People’s Open” in a relaxed and comfortable setting.

In order for all of our military heroes to get the chance to experience the Birdies for the Brave Patriots Outpost, official military ID’s will be required to gain access, and the one-guest maximum guideline will be in effect to ensure a great experience.
