The Wichita Wind Surge, a local minor league baseball team, is continuing its partnership with Vet Tix to provide tickets to military members and their families this season. The partnership is in conjunction with the Davis-Moore Automotive Group.
In partnership with Vet Tix and the Davis-Moore Automotive Group, the Wichita Wind Surge will distribute up to 75 tickets for every Sunday game. Tickets will be distributed to all branches of currently serving military and veterans, including the immediate family of troops. To secure tickets, participants need to sign up online at www.vettix.org and create a Vet Tix account. Once the military service time is verified, individuals need to request tickets for the upcoming event.
Vet Tix provides tickets to events that reduce stress, strengthen family bonds, build life-long memories and encourage service members and veterans to stay engaged with local communities and American life. The first home Sunday game for the Wind Surge will be April 19.
